TCP Port Check tests whether a TCP connection can be established to the selected port. HTTP Check also sends an HTTP or HTTPS request and displays the web server’s response code.
No. A 404 or 500 response means the server answered the HTTP request, even though the page or application reported an error. Choose TCP Port mode if you only need to test port reachability.
The checking node received no response within the allotted time. A network filter, unavailable server, wrong port, or routing issue could be responsible. A timeout alone cannot identify the exact cause.
Enter one port from 1 to 65535 and select IPv4 or IPv6. In HTTP mode you can also choose HTTP or HTTPS; their usual ports are 80 and 443 respectively.
The request runs from a ForceVPS network node, not from your browser. Reachability from another network may differ because of firewall rules and routing.
